Seniors defeated by Coalisland.
Fr Rocks seniors took on Coalisland at the weekend and despite a spirited display were defeated on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-12. It was Coalisland who dominted the first half, despite an Owen Mulligan free opening the game, Fr Rocks trailed by 1-6 to 0-2 after sixteen minutes, with Raymond Mulgrew the other Cookstown scorer. Four Cookstown scores in a row, from Owen Mulligan (free), Stephen Devlin, Christopher Eastwood and Raymond Mulgrew put them back into the contest and left the half time score 1-7 to 0-6 at the break. It was the home side who kicked the first three scores of the second half, but a brilliant individual goal from Marty Murray brought Cookstown back into the game. Coalisland hit the net a minute later, but Cookstown never give up and scores from Christopher Eastwood x3, Owen Mulligan x2 and Marty Hughes kept them in the game. Coalisland held on for a victory on a final scoreline of 2-12 to 1-12.

Seniors & reserves
Fr Rocks reserves drew with Coalisland on Sunday on a final scoreline of 2-11 to 0-17, a great score in the last few minutes from Dean Teague appeared to give the young Roscks side a win, but Coalisland equalised with a free kick deep into injury time to leave the game level.
