Seniors defeat Errigal
Fr Rocks seniors faced Errigal Ciaran at Paddy Cullen Park on Saturday and came away with two hard earned league points, which keep their top four hopes alive. It was a tough, low scoring encounter, with the score 0-3 to 0-1 to the visitors at the break. Christopher Eastwood was the only Fr Rocks scorer in a half which saw Martin Rea save a Peter Harte penalty. Fr Rocks had points from Marty Murray and Mark O'Connor in the second period, before John Gilmore fired home an excellent goal. The game was in the balance right to the last whistle and it was Raymond Mulgrew who secured the points with a goal in the last  minute. This was a great team effort from the Rocks who face county champions Clonoe next, with a place in the League play offs still up for grabs.
