Fr Rocks and Fianna share the points.
Fr Rocks seniors were back in action on Sunday afternoon and they fought out an entertaining draw with Coalisland at Paddy Cullen Park. Cookstown started well with Raymond Mulgrew opening the scoring after four minutes. The visitors however took control of the contest and kicked five points without reply in a twenty minute spell of dominance. Fr Rocks however began to claw their way back into the contest and a brace of scores from Christopher Eastwood and Shea McGarrity left them just a point behind. Marty Hughes was shown a red card minutes later, and the teams traded points just before the interval with John Gilmore and Raymond Mulgrew leaving the half time score 0-6 to 0-6. Despite being a man down, it was Cookstown who dominated possession in the second half, but hey often failed to convert it into scores. The teams traded scores throughout the second half with Raymond Mulgrew, James McGahan, and Owen Mulligan the Fr Rocks marksmen. Owen Mulligan levelled the contest with just minutes remaining with a great point from play, and despite chances for both teams to win the game, it finished level on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-10. The Fr Rocks scores were, R Mulgrew 0-3, O Mulligan 0-2, S McGarrity 0-2, C Eastwood 0-2, J Gilmore 0-1.
