posted Apr 29, 2013, 12:38 PM by Martin McGirr

This week's lotto numbers were 3-9-21-23. There were twelve match three winners who each won £10. The jackpot next week is £5800.

Senior Fixtures

Fr Rocks seniors and reserves are both back in action this Sunday when Moy visit Paddy Cullen Park. Throw in (reserve) 2:15pm & (senior) 3:45pm. All support and help at the pitch is welcome on match day.

Club Awards Night

It proved to be a fantastic evening at Greenvale Hotel last Friday night, with a special awards night for our players to celebrate the great achievements of last season. A massive thanks to all who helped support and organise the evening and in particular to our club sponsor Steelweld Fabrications.

Minors

The minors have championship action this Wednesday night at 6:45pm when they make the long journey to Trillick. All support on the evening would be greatly appreciated.

U14s

The U14s have two important fixtures this week. The boys firstly are at home to Moy at 7:15pm on Tuesday 30th April and they travel to Edendork on Friday 3rd May with a throw in time of 7:15pm.

Under 16 training will take place on Thursday 2nd May at 6:30pm at Paddy Cullen Park.

U8s & 10s

Under 10 training will take place on Friday evening at 6:30pm at Paddy Cullen Park. Under 8 training will also begin this week, for any boys born in the years 2005/6.

Primary School Primary Football

After School football continues at the usual times on Thursday and Friday

Last Man Standing Fundraiser

A massive well done to Gerard O’Connor who won the £250 prize money in the Last Man Standing competition at the weekend. Gerard correctly predicted all four National League winners, and had all corrections right throughout the League campaign.

Ladies Notes

For the second consecutive year, the U14 girls got through to the last four of the Feile Peile na nOg.  Every girl put in a tremendous effort last Thursday night and played exceptional football.  The girls were narrowly beat by 2 points in the semi-final by eventual cup winners, Killeeshil. Four teams will represent Tyrone in the All Ireland Feile, to be held in Doire from 28th to 30th June (Killeeshil, Errigal Ciaran, Aodh Ruadh and Fr. Rocks).  Fr. Rocks will host Killarney club Legions.  This will be a great festival of football and entertainment for the girls and anyone who would like to help in anyway, please do not hesitate to contact the U14 coaches, Cormac McKernan, Damien Meeke or Carmel on 07891958167.

Condolences

The club would like to express deepest sympathy to the Pickering family on their recent bereavement.
