Club Notes 11/3/13

This week's lotto numbers were 9-18-19-22. There were four match three winners who each won £25. The jackpot next week is £5100.

Minors

The minors will face Dungannon this Saturday with an 11am throw in time, the venue for the game has still to be confirmed. Training will take place on Thursday night at 6:15pm at MUSA.

 

U14s

The U14 training continues on Wednesday night at 6:15pm in MUSA, the boys play Derrylaughan away on Saturday with a 12:45pm throw in time.

 

Last Man Standing Fundraiser

The club is currently running a Last Man Standing Prediction Competition, for Division 1 of the National Football League. You can follow your progress by logging on to www.fatherrocks.com. There are just under thirty people left in the competition as the excitement builds over the next few league weekends, to see who claims the £250 prize.

Mouthguards

Under new ruling from congress all players up to and including minor as of January 1st 2013 will have to wear a mouthguard in all Gaelic football training sessions and matches.

Membership

Club membership is now due and there will be an opportunity to pay next Monday evening in the club rooms 6pm-7pm. Adult membership is £35 for the year. All players and committee members should have membership paid by the next meeting or game. Youth membership is £5 for the year, and student membership is £10.

 

Judgement Night

It’s back! Judgement Night! Fr Rocks will be hosting a boxing night on Saturday 23rd March in the Glenavon Hotel. The last night proved to be a massive success having sold out within one week. There will be fighters from a range of clubs across Tyrone, with some great match ups in store. The fighters will be revealed soon on www.fatherrocks.com. There are a limited number of tickets available, so get your order in early. Tickets are priced at £20 and will be on sale this week. Contact any committee member to order.

Best of luck to all Fr Rocks players involved in the Ulster Final against St Ciaran’s Ballygawley this Wednesday.

 

 

 

Ladies Club Notes

Well done again to the minor Ladies who beat Clan Na Gael on Saturday 5-14 to 0-03. There next game will be this Saturday 16th of March against Omagh in MUSA. Under 14 training will begin this Friday the 15th of March in the all-weather pitch. Finally Youth registration night will be on Monday the 18th of March in clubrooms between 6.30 and 7.30 pm and all girls are required to pay £5 on the night.
