Club Notes 04/02/13

posted Feb 5, 2013, 2:59 PM by Seamus Moore

This week's lotto numbers were 8-12-21-24. There were five match three winners who each won £20. The jackpot next week is £4600.

All Roads lead to Croker
Fr Rocks senior team are just 60mins from creating history as they set out in their bid to win their second all Ireland title, when they face Kerry and Munster champions Finuge in Croke Park on Saturday night. After a hard fought memorable victory in the semi-final against a highly fancied Charlestown side the rocks are in confident mood. As recent history shows all Tyrone v Kerry games in Head Quarters are unique occasions and we expect this to be no different. We hope the travelling support is as plentiful and vocal as back in 2010. The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the players and management for their efforts throughout this championship and wish them all the best in the final. Throw in is at 7.15pm

Minor Training
The minor boys have training at MUSA this Thursday at 6:15pm. Please remember that all players must have a gum shield for training and matches.

Under new ruling from congress all players up to and including minor as of January 1st 2013 will have to wear a mouthguard in all Gaelic football training sessions and matches.
More information on this can be found on the club website.

Youth Coaching Equipment
Could anyone who was involved in coaching Youth Football last season, please return any equipment that they still have as the club wish to carry out an audit on all equipment for coaching.

Club membership is now due and there will be an opportunity to pay next Monday evening in the club rooms 6pm-7pm. Adult membership is £35 for the year. All players and committee members should have membership paid by the next meeting or game. Youth membership is £5 for the year, and student membership is £10.

Club Sponsorship
The committee would like thank local businesses and individuals especially our main sponsor Dominic Crilly and Steelweld Fabrications for their continued support and contributions recently to our All Ireland fund. All support is greatly appreciated and a full list of all sponsors will be published at a later date. Also we would like to thank local clubs for their words of encouragement.
