Club Notes - Monday 18th March

This week's lotto numbers were 4-7-12-19. There were ten match three winners who each won £10. The jackpot next week is £5200.

Minors

The minors will face Dungannon this Wednesday with a 7:30pm throw in time at MUSA. Training will take place on Thursday night at 6:15pm at MUSA.

 

U14s

The U14 training continues on Wednesday night at 6:15pm in MUSA, the boys play Moy at MUSA on Saturday with a 1pm throw in time. They had a draw in their previous game against Derrylaughan.

 

Last Man Standing Fundraiser

The club is currently running a Last Man Standing Prediction Competition, for Division 1 of the National Football League. You can follow your progress by logging on to www.fatherrocks.com. There are just over twenty people left in the competition as the excitement builds over the next few league weekends, to see who claims the £250 prize.

Mouthguards

Under new ruling from congress all players up to and including minor as of January 1st 2013 will have to wear a mouthguard in all Gaelic football training sessions and matches.

Membership

Club membership is now due and there will be an opportunity to pay next Monday evening in the club rooms 6pm-7pm. Adult membership is £35 for the year. All players and committee members should have membership paid by the next meeting or game. Youth membership is £5 for the year, and student membership is £10.

 

Judgement Night

It’s back! Judgement Night! Fr Rocks will be hosting a boxing night this Saturday 23rd March in the Glenavon Hotel. The last night proved to be a massive success having sold out within one week. There will be fighters from a range of clubs across Tyrone and they are only a handful of tickets remaining. Tickets are priced at £20 and if you have not collected them yet, then call out to MUSA on Friday evening at 8:30pm. Contact any committee member to order.

 

Congratulations to Holy Trinity

Well done to James McGahan and Eoin Coyle who helped Holy Trinity College secure the three in a row, with a great victory in the Ulster Markey Cup final last Wednesday.

 

Ladies Club Notes

The Minor girls won in the League on Saturday past at MUSA, beating Omagh 3:7 to 2:9. Their next game is on Sunday away to Errigal Ciaran, throw-in 11.00am. Training for Seniors and Minors continues Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The club would like to express deepest Condolences to the O’Brien and Glackin families on their recent bereavement.
